Apply to be an academic coach with Rising Native Graduates. Native Forward graduates or professional-level scholars, or alumni are invited to apply. Complete the form below to see how you can empower future Native leaders.
Who can apply?
Current graduate or professional students or new professionals who have recently attained a graduate or professional degree can serve as Academic Coaches. Native Forward Alumni will be given priority. Coaches must:
- Be able to successfully pass a background check.

Do I need to have a completed graduate/professional degree to be an Academic Coach?
No, Native Forward also welcomes current graduate and professional students to serve as Academic Coaches.
Why do Academic Coaches need to complete a background check?
We are committed to keeping Native Forward scholars and alumni safe by ensuring all our participants’ wellbeing. We require all Academic Coaches to complete a background check.
Native Forward covers costs associated with the background checks.
